Mercenaries for Hire Design-Your-Own-Dungeon
We here at Mercenaries for Hire sure do love dungeons. Our entire operation is based on helping wizards get through tough dungeons and bosses. Kingsisle has given us many cheating dungeons over the last few worlds, but the mercenaries have been able to figure out these dungeons and develop sound strategies to get through them quickly and with little pain. Your task is to give us something that would push the mercenaries to their limits.
What you have to do:
- Create an entirely new dungeon complete with cheats
- Provide a back story in regard to the dungeon (is it a main or a side quest). You don’t need to write a novel.
- Record every floor in the dungeon with explanations. Mob floors just need health and school. Puzzle floors need a description of the puzzle and the key to solving it.
Bosses:
- What would a difficult dungeon be without difficult bosses?
Boss floors have a few more requirements:
- Include name, health, and school, along with minions.
- List the cheats, yes, they require cheats.
- For the cheats, try to come up with original cheats. You may include cheats from other bosses but the major cheat must be original.
- Now, these cheats are pushing mercenaries to their edge, so it is up to you to come up with a strategy to counteract them.

Don’t worry if you don’t your entry doesn’t place, everyone who enters will win a FOG staff, a retired Beckett promotional item now exclusive to M4H.
The deadline is Midnight EST/11 PM CST/10 PM MST/9 PM PST on 1/19/13.
Entries will be judged based on creativity, ingenuity, and strategy in countering the cheats.

Yes, it can be for any level. Just make sure you have both the dungeon design and a strategy to complete it as well in your entry.

from the rules: it is up to you to come up with a strategy to counteract the cheats.
