Zeussigils

Note: This guide is still very much a work in progress, and will be updated when I find new discoveries.

It’s time for a rematch! Your old foes have risen and hope to conquer again in the new ultra one-shot dungeons. These new instances can be purchased for 500 crowns in the Crown Shop, or potentially obtained as a drop from various enemies across the spiral.

To use an ultra one-shot dungeon, simply place it down inside one of your houses. Once that is done, the sigils will light up and you’ll be all set to go! Remember though, you may only enter through the sigils once, and it must be with the owner of the house. After that, you can only get back into the instance by using dungeon recall. After the sigils are used, the instance will turn into a neat trophy!

One of the more challenging newer dungeons is the Zeus Exalted Duel dungeon. That’s right, Zeus is back and he brought along some very powerful friends!

The Zeus Exalted Duel dungeon only contains one fight, but who you get in the fight will be different each time. There are 5 possible foes who will accompany Zeus in the battle.

Your possible enemies:

  • Always in the Battle: Zeus Sky Father (Myth, 27,500 health)

Zeus

  • Poseidon Earth-Shaker (Storm, 25,000 health)

Poseidon

  • Hades the Unseen (Death, 22,500 health)

Hades

  • Ares Savage Spear (Fire, 23,500 health)

Ares

  • Apollo Bright One (Life, 24,000 health)

Apollo

  • Always in the Battle: Cronus (Sun, 30,000 health)

Cronus

Each of these bosses will only appear in ONE position, which can help you determine what options to prepare for:

  • Dagger Position: Zeus
  • Key Position: Poseidon, Ares
  • Ruby Position: Hades, Apollo
  • Spiral Position: Cronus

You will ALWAYS have Zeus and Cronus in your battle. Aside from that, you will either have Poseidon or Ares, with either Hades or Apollo.

The cool (but also scary!) thing about this instance is that the battle will COMPLETELY change depending on who you have in your battle, meaning your entire strategy will be different depending on the bosses that you get.

The Cheats

There are cheats, and lots of them!

  • At the beginning of round 1, 2 immortals will interrupt to cast a form of their natural attack (they have many!). After that, the natural attacks will occur at the beginning of every 4th round.
    • Round 1 – 2 Natural Attacks
    • Round 2 – Normal
    • Round 3 – Normal
    • Round 4 – Normal
    • Round 5 – 2 Natural Attacks
    • Round 6 – Normal
    • Round 7 – Normal
    • Round 8 – Normal
    • Round 9 – 2 Natural Attacks etc, etc…

Zeus’s Cheats

  • If a dispel is placed on any enemy in the battle, Zeus will shout “Did you think you could silence an immortal?” and interrupt to cast Cleanse Charm on that same enemy, which removes the dispel.
    • Only one dispel will be removed from a double dispel.
    • The myth dispel will be removed from a Spirit Defuse, and the ice dispel will be removed from an Elemental Defuse.

Didyou

  • If you use an AOE and Zeus is not defeated, Zeus will interrupt to shout “A bold maneuver. You deserve an immortal boon.” and cast a Healing Current on YOU! Yes, Zeus heals YOU after you try to kill him!
    • Like a regular Healing Current, the amount that the spell will heal you for varies.

Poseidon’s Cheats

  • When any damage blade is played, Poseidon will interrupt to shout “Observe the might of a true weapon!”, and cast a moon polymorph which triggers an Enfeeble on the recipient of the blade, followed by a storm natural attack which deals around 368 damage.
    • This cheat also triggers when a damage bubble is played. (The bubble stays in play though)
    • If Bladestorm is cast, Poseidon will only Enfeeble the caster.

observethe

  • If an aura is played, Poseidon will shout “The sea is but a puddle without the pull of the stars.” and interrupt to give the caster a -50% Tower Shield. He’s a nice guy, really. 😉

Hades’s Cheats

  • All heals will trigger Hades to shout “The selfish belong in Tartarus!” and cast a moon polymorph spell that deals around 342 death damage and then leaves a -90% version of infection.
    • Pet heals also trigger this cheat.

Theselfish

  • Whenever anyone is defeated (your team, or theirs), Hades will interrupt to say “Your donation to Tartarus is greatly appreciated.” and donate 3 pips to the person who cast the attack spell.
    • This means that if you defeat an immortal, Hades will give your hitter 3 pips. If an immortal defeats someone on your team, Hades will give the pips to whoever cast that attack.

Ares’s Cheats

  • If you trap any enemy in the battle, Ares will shout “Your underhanded tactics are unbefitting!” and interrupt to cast an Efreet on the caster. This particular Efreet leaves a -95% debuff instead of the normal -90%.
    • You are able to cast Windstorm with no consequence.

yourunder

  • If you hit any enemy in the battle, Ares will interrupt to shout “Such prowess! But I think you can do better.” and cast a Dark Pact on YOU!  (Ares will hit himself and then give you a 35% blade).
    • This Dark Pact will also trigger for AOEs.
    • Woohoo for underkilling! 😉

Apollo’s Cheats

  • Whenever an AOE heal is cast (Rebirth, Unicorn, etc..), Apollo will interrupt to say “The light shines upon those who share it.” and give YOU a 40% Guiding Light.
    • This cheat will also trigger for pet AOE heals.

thelightshines

  • If you defeat any enemy before Apollo, Apollo will interrupt to cast 2 Life Leviathans.
    • The first Life Leviathan will hit the person on your team who cast the attack spell, and then heal all of the immortals for around 700 health.
    • The second Life Leviathan will hit one of the IMMORTALS (Not you!) and then heal all of the immortals for around 700 health.
    • This spell will bring back any enemies that you defeated during that round.

Cronus’s Cheats

  • No Cronus cheats have been observed.

PLEASE NOTE: These cheats will only be present if their corresponding immortal is in the battle. For example, if you don’t have Poseidon in your battle, you are free to blade. If you don’t have Ares in your battle, you are free to trap, etc….

Strategies

Like I mentioned earlier, your strategy will greatly change depending on who you have in your battle.

Poseidon and Hades Strategy

  • Invest in good resist and block. These guys hit HARD. Be prepared to take damage.
  • Take off healing pets. Those infections and natural attacks can be nasty and add up quickly. Save yourself some time (and health) by taking them off before the battle begins.
  • Trap stack Poseidon and take him out ASAP. With Poseidon out of the way, you’ll be free to blade up your hammer to take out the rest of the immortals.
  • Blade up your hammer and feint the rest of the immortals for a huge AOE attack. With blades now free to play, this battle can become a normal boss fight.

Poseidon and Apollo Strategy

  • Invest in good resist and block. These guys hit HARD. Be prepared to take damage.
  • Trap stack all of the immortals for a huge AOE attack. Since Apollo casts his Life Leviathan 2 times, even a double life dispel would not stop it. Your best bet is to feint stack all of the immortals for a big hit.

Ares and Hades Strategy

  • Invest in good resist and block. These guys hit HARD. Be prepared to take damage.
  • Take off healing pets. Those infections and natural attacks can be nasty and add up quickly. Save yourself some time (and health) by taking them off before the battle begins.
  • Focus on Ares and take him out ASAP. With Ares out of the way, you’ll be free to feint and trap stack all of the other immortals with no consequence.
  • Blade up your hammer and feint the rest of the immortals for a huge AOE attack. With feints and traps now free to play, this battle can become a normal boss fight.

Ares and Apollo Strategy

  • Invest in good resist and block. These guys hit HARD. Be prepared to take damage.
  • Blade up your hammer for a huge AOE attack. Since Apollo casts his Life Leviathan 2 times, even a double life dispel would not stop it. If you’re willing to take an Efreet, go ahead and put some feints on the immortals. Otherwise, use stacking blades to prepare for a huge hit.

Videos will be posted when test hits live! (This prevents me from having to make them over again when things change, lol.)

Battle Rewards

Defeating the immortals can result in neat new drops including:

  • Ultra Seeds
  • Socket Wrenches
  • Unique Gear
  • The new Mote of Transport which is needed to craft the new school mounts!

Although challenging, the immortals drop some amazing new items that can only be found in one-shot dungeons for the time being. Give the battle a shot, and see what works for you!
