Mason Dragonblood’s Winning Entry

Jan 23, 2013

Wizards that are level 90+ will receive a Tutorial Tip from Clancy Pembroke. Note that the quest he gives is a side quest.

“Young Wizard, your attention is required immediately! Report to the Royal Museum in Marleybone as soon as possible!”

In the Royal Museum, Clancy Pembroke will give a quest to wizards that meet the above requirement.

Quest Name: Those Menacing Cats!

“It’s been quite a while since we last talked, Young Wizard. I trust you have been moving along in your studies?” “I’ve heard that our police force is in need of some assistance. The O’Leary Gang will never settle down, even when they’re locked up!” “Would you go to Newgate Prison and help them out? We might be able to spare some extra gold if you can calm them down.”

Quest Goal: Locate Cells in Newgate Prison

Once arriving, the Narrator will speak. “Something doesn’t look right here. You should ask that officer over there what’s going on.”

New Goal: Talk to Officer Ness in Newgate Prison

“Thank goodness someone has finally arrived! There’s been a jail break, and the prisoners broke out!” “Before we could get the jail locked up again, one of the most dangerous prisoners escaped: Meowiarty.” “We don’t know where he is, but no good can come of him being on the loose! We need someone like you to find him and bring him back where he belongs.”

New Goal: Talk to Clancy Pembroke in Royal Museum

“A jail break, you say? Meowiarty? Oh, bother!” Reward: 4,000 experience, 720 gold

Quest Name: Back to Bones

“This is bad news, Young Wizard. We must act at once.” “The Mayor needs to be alerted. Go seek him out in Digmoore Station.”

Quest Goal: Talk to Mayor Pimsbury in Digmoore Station

“Meowiarty broke out of Newgate Prison? This is terrible news!” “You started a conflict against the O’Leary Gang in the past, so it is your duty to end it. I call upon you to find Meowiarty and bring him to justice!” “Go speak to Sherlock Bones. He might have knowledge of the situation and could be of help.”

New Goal: Talk to Sherlock Bones in Digmoore Station

“I know why you have come, Young Wizard. I saw where Meowiarty went, although you might not want to hear it.” “Meowiarty and the escaped O’Learys broke into Barkingham Palace, the center of Marleybone’s power.” “Their Majesty the King and Queen reside in the far quarters of the Palace. Meowiarty’s goal must be to find them.” “Clancy Pembroke sent you, correct? He should be able to help you stop Meowiarty.”

New Goal: Talk to Clancy Pembroke in Royal Museum

“That is dire news indeed.” Reward: 8,350 experience, 900 gold

Quest Name: Bark a Little Louder

“If Meowiarty reaches the King and Queen, all of Marleybone will crumble!” “You must stop him, Young Wizard. I suspect that Barkingham Palace will still be accessible.” “Quickly, follow Meowiarty inside. If there are still guards on duty, they will help you.”

Quest Goal: Explore Barkingham Palace in Barkingham Palace

Barkingham Palace is a dungeon. The estimated time that it will take to complete it is two hours, but, of course, it will most likely be shorter if you bring friends. Upon entering, the quest goal from the original quest will change and a new instance quest will be automatically started.

New Goal: Defeat Meowiarty

Quest Name: In the Name of the Paw

Quest Goal: Locate Meowiarty

The standard look of Barkingham Palace is similar to that of a Warehouse in Marleybone. However, it is much bigger and has an opening at the back of the room to advance you to the next floor. Instead of the opening being a simple passageway, it is an elevator such as those in Big Ben. Each room is furnished with chairs, sofas, dressers, paintings, and other furniture items that create the feeling of royalty. A large rug is in the center of every room where the battles are to take place. The first goal only required you to walk in a couple steps, since Meowiarty is in the center of the room as an NPC. Behind him on either side are two other cats, also as NPCs, titled O’Leary Thugs. When you come close enough, Meowiarty will speak.

“Ah, the little Wizard is here. Have the Dogs sent you here to take me back to Newgate Prison?” “I’m afraid that I have other plans. Once I find the Majesties of Marleybone, I’ll… pay them back for their generosity.” “I’ll leave you with a little present of my own. Thugs! Destroy the Wizard!”

New Goal: Defeat O’Leary Thug in Barkingham Palace

O'Leary Thug

Name: O’Leary Thug School: Balance Health: 9,235 Number in Room: 4 (Regardless of number of players) Spells: Balanceblade, Hex, Weakness, Sandstorm, Hydra, Ra, Chimera, Sabertooth Number of Pips start with: 12 Notes: All spells these creatures cast are enchanted with Colossal, or have 275 damage added to each spell’s base damage Cheats: None

After defeating these enemies, the quest goal will change and the elevator in the back of the room will be usable.

New Goal: Defeat O’Leary Magician in Barkingham Palace

In the next room, there are a variety of different O’Leary creatures, but the main one necessary to defeat is the O’Leary Magician.

O'Leary Magician and minions

Name: O’Leary Magician School: Death Health: 9,800 Number in Room: 1 Spells: Deathblade, Curse, Death Trap, Vampire, Wraith, Scarecrow, Skeletal Dragon, Dr. Von’s Monster, Avenging Fossil Number of Pips start with: 12 Notes: Spells have Colossal (+275 base damage) Cheats: None

Name: O’Leary Gangster School: Fire Health: 9,480 Number in Room: 1 Spells: Fireblade, Fire Trap, Choke, Meteor Strike, Phoenix, Fire Dragon, Efreet, Rain of Fire, Sun Serpent Number of Pips start with: 12 Notes: Spells have Colossal (+275 base damage) Cheats: None

Name: O’Leary Thug School: Balance Health: 9,235 Number in Room: 2 Spells: Balanceblade, Hex, Weakness, Sandstorm, Hydra, Ra, Chimera, Sabertooth Number of Pips start with: 12 Notes: All spells these creatures cast are enchanted with Colossal, or have 275 damage added to each spell’s base damage Cheats: None

After defeating them, the Narrator will speak. “That should be the last of those that Meowiarty left behind. Now where to find him… maybe you should keep using the elevators.”

New Goal: Use Elevator in Barkingham Palace

When reaching the elevator, you can see that it has been destroyed and will not be able to be used. “That isn’t good. Meowiarty must not want you following him. There’s a corridor over there that you could try.”

New Goal: Explore Corridor in Barkingham Palace

Off to the side, you can enter another area through an opened door. After entering, you can see an officer stationed.

New Goal: Talk to Officer Slade

“Halt! Who wants to see the King and Queen of Marleybone?” “Chasing Meowiarty, are you? I heard about the jail break, and I’ll do what I can to help you. “Find Officer Kane. He’s the registered guard of Her Majesty’s Queen, and would know where she is.” “The King? Find him later. I’m sure Officer Kane would know his guard. For now–”

The camera moves to the center of the room, where Pops O’Leary is shown. “Think ya can outsmart da O’Leary Gang, do ya, punk? Well now, ye’re in fer a treat!”

New Goal: Defeat Pops O’Leary

Pops O'Leary

Name: Pops O’Leary School: Ice Health: 29,430 Spells: Iceblade, Ice Trap, Tower Shield, Volcanic Shield, Blizzard, Frostbite, Frost Giant, Snow Angel, Wooly Mammoth, Lord of Winter Number of Pips start with: 14 Notes: All spells deal 1.5x damage (Half of spell’s base damage is added to its base damage). Does not include spells triggered by cheats.

Name: O’Leary Gangster School: Fire Health: 9,480 Number in Room: 3 Spells: Fireblade, Fire Trap, Choke, Meteor Strike, Phoenix, Fire Dragon, Efreet, Rain of Fire, Sun Serpent Number of Pips start with: 12 Notes: Spells have Colossal (+275 base damage) Cheats: None

Cheats:

“You’ll pay if ya think ‘bout hitting me!” This message will be displayed at the beginning of the battle as a fair warning for Pops O’Leary’s cheat.

“Ya wanna play rough?” When he takes damage by any spell, including AoE spells, he uses a Wooly Mammoth with a base damage of 2,300 on the caster.

“Don’t feel like fightin’?” If he is not targeted twice each round, he will cast Empower, causing him to take 300 damage and gain 3 pips (casting this counts as an interrupt and does not use any Pips).

“Ack, that hurt!” Since Pops O’Leary doesn’t like taking damage, casting Empower on himself will result in him interrupting and casting Snow Angel with a base damage of 300 + 1,980 over 3 rounds.

Strategy: If you hit Pops O’Leary, you’ll be hit with a Woolly Mammoth that’s twice as strong, but if you don’t hit him, your entire team will be hit with a Snow Angel that’s three times as strong. Basically, the only way to avoid the Snow Angel is to hit him twice, but that would result in two Woolly Mammoths for two members of your team. There are two major strategies to go about defeating him:

Dispel him. Have one member of your team, preferably an Ice wizard, continuously dispel him. This would negate his Snow Angel cheat and you don’t have to worry about hitting him which would activate his Woolly Mammoth cheat. However, since Pops O’Leary is Ice, the Ice dispels could be used up by his normal attacks. This would only happen if your team is first, so in this case you would want to be second. The dispelling method is probably the easiest way to defeat him because his cheats are rendered useless, but if he has the chance to remove them by casting normal spells, you might want to try a different method.

Use traps. Pops O’Leary’s cheat only requires him to be targeted, so it isn’t necessary to attack him. Have two members of your team carry a deck full of traps and little attacks. Treasure card traps are helpful too, since they stack with regular ones and also work for the cheat. Since he isn’t being hit, Wooly Mammoth will not be used either, so it will negate both cheats. Traps also work as boosts, of course, so using enough of them could cause an attack to do enough damage to defeat him. Make sure to carry Feints, including the trained spell, the treasure card version, the amulet version, and the pet version. The player that is attacking should be in the last spot so they can be buffed and are able to hit as soon as possible.

No matter what strategy you are using, always try to finish Pops O’Leary with one hit. If you don’t, the attacking player will be hit with a Woolly Mammoth and the entire team could also be hit with a Snow Angel if that was the only attack that turn, making it very difficult to recover. Also, be sure to take out his minions as soon as possible because they can cast Choke. If they do, your entire team will be stunned and you won’t be able to negate Pops O’Leary’s Snow Angel.

This can be a tough boss and a hard way to start the dungeon, so make sure you are prepared and have your deck ready with either an abundance of dispels or traps.

“You shouldn’t be makin’ enemies with da O’Leary Gang, Wizard! You may’ve beaten me, but ya don’t stand a chance ‘gainst Meowiarty!”

New Goal: Talk to Officer Slade

“You sure showed him! Ha!” “You’d best be getting off to find Officer Kane. Hurry now, Wizard, Marleybone’s at stake!”

New Goal: Locate to Officer Kane

At the end of the room, there is a staircase which substitutes for the broken elevator in the previous room. Once entering, there are creatures that the quest goal does not require you to face, but you will be unable to advance to the next room without defeating them.

The next floor is a puzzle floor. When you walk in, there will be a book pedestal which you can interact with that gives you a clue to solving the puzzle.

“Any Marleybonian worthy of seeing Her Majesty’s King and Queen would be familiar with Marleybone’s foreign affairs.” “Marleybone has taken on the role of being a leader in exploration. Worlds that Marleybone have explored must be identified. Those that we have chosen to leave the role to others do not.”

In the middle of the room are six floating spheres that have worlds of the Spiral inside of them. These worlds are Wizard City, Krokotopia, MooShu, Dragonspyre, Celestia, and Zafaria. In front of each of them are small platforms that, when stepped on, light up which shows that you have selected it as an answer. To the left of the room is a lever that you must interact with to confirm your answer. If it is correct, the entrance in the back of the room will open and an elevator will be revealed. If it is incorrect, the puzzle will disappear and you must complete another fight.

The worlds that must be lit up are only Krokotopia and Celestia. There is a Marleybonian leader that plays a major role in the expedition, Sergeant Major Talbot. Marleybone is also exploring the Krokotopian pyramids, the major one being the Pyramid of the Sun. In Celestia, the Spiral Geographic Society went to Celestia, but later sent out a distress call because of the Umbra Queen.

The enemies spawned if the incorrect answer is submitted are as follows.

After entering the next room, it will look noticeably different than other rooms. There is a red carpet down the middle extending to the opposite end where there is a large throne. In front of the throne is the Marlebonian Queen and to the side of her is Meowiarty. Upon entering, the quest goal changes and Meowiarty begins to speak. Note that this part of the quest has multiple different goals necessary to complete.

New Goal: Defeat Sammy O’Leary

New Goal: Defeat Gibson O’Leary

New Goal: Defeat Shakes O’Leary

New Goal: Defeat Lockpick O’Leary

“Now, now, Your Majesty. I’m just giving you a simple choice. You come with me, or I’ll bring Marleybone to its knees!

The next line is the response from the Queen. “No! Marleybone shall not perish at the hands of Her enemies!”

Meowiarty then replies. “We don’t have to be your enemies, unless you make us so. We could help Marleybone, make it the strongest empire in the Spiral! “Provided, of course, that it would be only for cats, and the dogs would have no place in the rebuilt society. Now, I’ll–” “The Wizard! Have you followed me to try to foil my plan?” “You are too late. The Queen is mine, and you will now meet your end! Sammy, Gibson, Shakes, Lockpick! Show the Wizard how you’ve improved since you last crossed paths.”

The narrator describes what then occurs. “Meowiarty casts a spell on the Queen, and she suddenly disappears!”

Meowiarty has the final line. “Don’t worry, Wizard, she’s not gone yet. But she will be soon, along with Marleybone’s precious King! Hahaha!”

Meowiarty disappears, and four O’Leary bosses appear in the center of the room. You face them all in one fight, so completing the battle would advance all four quest goals.

Does not include spells triggered by cheats. Cheats: Discussed below.

There is no “main” boss for this fight as they all cheat and are about as strong as each other. The following are the cheats for this set of bosses. Note that the phrases below can be said at any point in the battle, not just during the beginning of the turn or during card selection.

“The O’Leary Gang will be mine!” When this is said, Sammy O’Leary becomes immune to all schools and cannot take any damage, even with armor piercing or other enchantments. If he is hit or attempted to be damaged by any spell, he will cast Frost Giant with 2,375 base damage. A random other boss in the fight will also use a spell respective to their cheat.

“You’ll never catch Meowiarty!” When this is said, Gibson O’Leary becomes immune to all schools and cannot take any damage, even with armor piercing or other enchantments. If he is hit or attempted to be damaged by any spell, he will cast Rain of Fire with 600 + 1,600 base damage. A random other boss in the fight will also use a spell respective to their cheat.

“Ain’t nobody’ll get into here!” When this is said, Shakes O’Leary becomes immune to all schools and cannot take any damage, even with armor piercing or other enchantments. If he is hit or attempted to be damaged by any spell, he will cast Earthquake with 2,170 base damage. A random other boss in the fight will also use a spell respective to their cheat.

“Them dogs won’t know what hit ‘em!” When this is said, Lockpick O’Leary becomes immune to all schools and cannot take any damage, even with armor piercing or other enchantments. If he is hit or attempted to be damaged by any spell, he will cast Forest Lord with 2,320 base damage. A random other boss in the fight will also use a spell respective to their cheat.

“You can’t stop us!” When three bosses are defeated and the one who currently holds the immunity is left, the immunity is immediately broken and the boss will be able to take damage for the rest of the fight. However, they will cast their respective cheating spell every other round before anyone conducts their normal turn until the battle ends. This spell will do normal damage instead of it being increased due to the cheat.

Strategy: This can be a difficult fight if you aren’t aware of the cheats. The phrases said are based off of what they say when you meet them in your first visit to Marleybone, so it would help if you remember your first encounter with them. Sammy O’Leary wanted to take over the O’Leary Gang, Gibson O’Leary repeats the same line that he said when you face him to find Meowiarty in Newgate Prison, Shakes O’Leary controlled the passwords for the clocktower in Chelsea Court to keep others out, and Lockpick O’Leary captured a Marleybonian police officer. This fight can be handled two major ways, like the last boss fight.

Use single hits. Take out each boss separately, one by one. Make sure you recognize who has immunity so you do not hit that boss and do no damage, as well as be hit by their cheating spell. The team can power up themselves individually so they can quickly take the bosses out in a row, or one player can be buffed who will hit, then proceeded to be buffed again or another player could be. However, a major flaw with this strategy is that the immunity could change during the period of time where cards are being used, so if you hit a certain boss and they gain immunity, the attack will basically be useless and a cheat would be triggered. However, using this method would make it easier to take out each boss and narrow down the fight.

Dispel and hit all. This strategy might be more preferred over the previous one because it only requires one solid hit to defeat all bosses besides the one that holds the immunity. One player will need to be buffed who will hit with their most powerful AoE spell. This will most likely be a Storm wizard who will hit with Sirens. It might be helpful to have another player who is after them to follow up and hit in case the attack does not finish the bosses. Using an AoE would result in the boss with immunity using their cheating spell, but there is a simple way to avoid this. A player before the hitter should use a dispel on the boss with immunity so their spell would be guaranteed to fizzle. The cheat also causes another random boss in the fight to use their cheating spell, but if the AoE is strong enough, it should finish the other bosses so no other spell would be used. This would probably be the easier method overall since the battle will be much faster and safer since even if the immunity does change before the hit, three out of the four bosses will still most likely be taken out.

After the fight is completed, Sammy O’Leary speaks. “Meowiarty’ll take ya down, Wizard! Ya best be gettin’ out of ‘ere while ya still can!”

New Goal: Talk to Officer Kane

“Sure is a good thing you happened along, Young Wizard. But we’re not out of the woods yet.” “Meowiarty has the Queen, and now he’s going after the King! I know another Officer who can help you, Officer Benedict by name.” “Where I failed, he may be able to succeed. There’s a secret entrance behind us that will lead straight to the King’s chamber. If you take it, you might be able to find him before Meowiarty does!” “I’ll follow you inside. Let’s be quick about it – there’s no room for error here!”

New Goal: Explore Chambers

A door opens up in the back of the room, revealing a secret passageway. After entering, you can see O’Leary enemies in the form of NPCs so you cannot engage in combat with them yet. Next to the entrance where you came in the room is Officer Kane. The quest goal then changes after entering.

“Confound it! Looks like those cats are one step ahead of us, Young Wizard.” “Not all hope is lost. If you can break through them fast enough, you might reach the end of these chambers first!” “Me? I’ll wait here. I’m getting too old for this business, and following a wizard around will be a little too much.”

New Goal: Explore King’s Chamber

The NPCs become enemies, and, once again, you must face them to continue on.

After the fight is completed, the quest goal changes to speak with an Officer in the far corner of the room.

New Goal: Talk to Officer Benedict

“I heard you were here, Young Wizard, and we sure need you now more than ever.” “That door here will take you into the King’s Chamber. Get him out of here, and the Queen, too, if you can.” “The other officers and I will patrol the rest of the palace to see if any of those O’Learys are left. Marleybone’s counting on you, Young Wizard. Don’t let Her down.”

New Goal: Locate Meowiarty

The next room is the final room in the dungeon. After entering, you will see Meowiarty standing in front of the King and Queen. Meowiarty speaks, and the quest goal changes.

New Goal: Defeat Meowiarty

“I can make you two a deal, if you would listen.”

The camera zooms in on Meowiarty. “You can keep your precious civilization, under my terms. I’ll let you two go free, but only if you let me and the O’Leary Gang as well!” “Newgate Prison must be cleared of all cats, and your little Dogs must abide by our rules.”

The King, whose name is King Terry, speaks. “I suppose we have no choice. On behalf of Marleybone, Newgate Prison shall release its prisoners.”

The next line is Meowiarty’s. “Very well, then. And the Queen will agree to these terms?”

The Queen answers. “I most certainly will… not. You can try to destroy our thriving society, but you will fail! Marleybone is a point stronger than ever before!”

The King responds to this. “This is not something we are able to argue with. Marleybone will crumble if the cat does not get what he wants.”

The Queen replies. “Then let it crumble! Her Majesty will not surrender, even in Her darkest hours!”

Meowiarty speaks again. “If you do not wish to give up, I will take Marleybone by force, starting with Barkingham Palace!”“You should know who you are dealing with. I will have no trouble destroying you two, and, trust me: Marleybone WILL surrender!” “What is this? The Wizard is eavesdropping again? I will not stand for anymore of this. King Terry! Queen Elizabeth! You serve me now!” “You may have succeeded in the past, but here is where I prevail! Come, Wizard, and make one last attempt to save this world from its undeniable fate!”

Meowiarty then changes to an enemy, as well as Queen Elizabeth and King Terry. There is also an O’Leary Thug to occupy the fourth slot in the battle. This is the final battle of the dungeon and is another boss fight.

You will want to be familiar with these bosses’ cheats for it will be very hard to complete this battle without some sort of knowledge of them. The cheats for these bosses are below.

“Lighten up your hits!” If you use a spell that deals more than 5,000 damage to any enemy, Meowiarty will cast Celestial Calendar on the caster with a base damage of 2,240 damage.

“Trying to weaken our plans?” If you use a negative charm on any enemy, including dispels, King Terry will immediately use Cleanse Charm and remove it. If there are multiple negative charms placed on an enemy by one spell, only one of them will be removed.

“Use some of those Pips!” When you have seven or more Pips, Queen Elizabeth may cast a Lord of Winter with a base damage of 2,000. Note that real purpose of using this spell is to remove your Pips, most likely six if you have all Power Pips. However, this does not always occur as soon as you gain seven Pips. It will happen randomly when you have seven or more Pips, so it might happen immediately, when you have ten or more, it might never happen, etc. There is a 35% chance Queen Elizabeth will use Lord of Winter every turn that you have seven or more pips.

“Healing will get you nowhere!” If a player uses a healing spell, Meowiarty will use Medusa on the player who healed with a regular base damage. The main purpose of this is to stun the caster for two rounds.

Strategy: This fight is clearly very difficult as you will not be able to hit for high amounts of damage without being hit back with Meowiarty’s Celestial Calendar. Healing this off will also be hard since the caster of the heal will be stunned for two rounds, and if they are the only healer they can be defeated by the bosses’ regular attacks. It will be risky to get the Pips to attack since they can be removed with Queen Elizabeth’s Lord of Winter as well as taking a large amount of damage. And, to top it all off, dispelling or weakening these bosses’ hits will not be effective as King Terry will remove any negative charms. The battle starts out with one major strategy which can branch off into multiple different ones.

Start by buffing and powering up one player in the fight. The player that is being buffed will want to keep their Pips low, so they should not be using many zero Pip spells but instead those like Elemental or Spirit Blade, Elemental or Spirit Trap, Global (sometimes referred to as Bubble or Field) spells, etc. Use as many of these as you can before you will be put over six Pips, then hit. The strategy branches off when determining who to hit first.

Meowiarty. Meowiarty has two cheats, the bigger one most likely being not being able to use spells with damage greater than 5,000 without being hit with a strong Celestial Calendar. He also makes it hard to heal by stunning the healer. If you defeat him first you do not have to worry about the damage of your spells or your heals. However, if you are going to hit him you should be confident that it will finish, since if it doesn’t the Celestial Calendar will be triggered. You will still be limited in Pips even if you do defeat him first, but damage would not be a problem. After Meowiarty, Queen Elizabeth should be taken out and then you could proceed on with the rest of the fight normally, ignoring King Terry’s cheat for the most part.

Queen Elizabeth. This is another good option instead of taking out Meowiarty first. It would take too long to hit her with small hits under 5,000 damage, so if you are going to hit her you should try to finish her with one hit, but the caster will have to be hit with Meowiarty’s Celestial Calendar. After that, Meowiarty should be taken out, taking advantage of being able to have more Pips again. Again, this should be with one hit so another Celestial Calendar will not be used. King Terry should also be ignored until the end of the fight for this strategy as you are not using dispels or weaknesses.

King Terry. Defeating King Terry first is another completely different approach to this fight. Since he disallows negative charms, dispels and weaknesses would normally not be an option in this battle. Dispels would be more necessary because of the cheats, so if you take him out first you can freely use them to limit the bosses’ cheats and try to make the fight more like a regular one. However, the cheating spells used are the same school as the school of the boss using them so the dispels may interfere with normal spells. If you do manage to take King Terry out first, dispelling Queen Elizabeth could be difficult since you do not know the exact time Lord of Winter is going to activate. It may be better focusing on Meowiarty next in this case since you can easily dispel him right before you hit to avoid the Celestial Calendar. Then, taking advantage of King Terry being out of the fight, one player could continuously dispel Queen Elizabeth which, if you are second, could help with negating some Lord of Winters since they activate at the beginning of the turn.

This fight is certainly not easy, but you and your team can get through it if you know how you are going to go about beating it. You might want to save the O’Leary Thug minion for last since it would waste a valuable hit that can be used to stop a cheat by taking out one of the bosses. If you are defeating Meowiarty or Queen Elizabeth first, you could defeat the minion before King Terry since his cheat becomes less important after the other two bosses are out. The order recommended for this fight would most likely be Meowiarty first, then Queen Elizabeth, King Terry, then the minion. But, once again, if your team is more comfortable completing this fight in a different order, it should work as well as long as you know how to do it that way.

After the fight is complete, Meowiarty will give an ending speech. “You have not won, little Wizard! We will take Marleybone, and then the entire Spiral! You have not seen the last of me, or the O’Leary Gang!”

The instance quest ends, and the main quest advances.

Reward: 125,785 experience, 5,800 gold-

New Goal: Talk to King Terry

The King and Queen reappear towards the back of the room, and you are able to talk to the King. However, both take part in the following dialogue, starting with King Terry. “Well done, Young Wizard! We apologize for fighting you, but I’m afraid Meowiarty cast a spell on us that left us with no other choice.”

Queen Elizabeth then speaks. “You have our eternal gratitude. That cat fellow should no long be a threat to Marleybone.”

King Terry follows. “We’ll see to it that he’s locked up tight this time. We might even send him off to Fort Elena, although I’ve gotten word of a scoundrel breaking into even our top jail.” “No worries, Young Wizard. More officers will be stationed in Newgate Prison immediately, as well as higher security measures being taken.”

The Queen ends the conversation. “Mr. Pembroke sent you, yes? Tell him he’s done quite the job in Her Majesty’s honor.”

New Goal: Talk to Clancy Pembroke

After returning to the Royal Museum, Clancy Pembroke will end the quest.

“You stopped Meowiarty? Excellent work! You know, the law here could really use someone like you…” “No? I admit, wizarding might be a better profession. What’s that? The King and Queen of Marleybone gave their eternal gratitude to you?” “That’s quite the honor! They put in a good word for me, too? We make a good team, Young Wizard!” “You’ve been more helpful than I could have imagined in this situation. If Marleybone ever gets caught up into trouble again, you’ll be the first to know about it!”
